Angeles City

City of Angeles, Province of Pampanga
Land Area: 66.16 km²
ZIP Code: 2009

Angeles City (Tagalog: Lungsod ng Angeles; Kapampangan: Ciudad ning Angeles), located within the province of Pampanga in the Philippines, is locally classified as a first-class, highly-urbanized city.

By 2010 (May) census, it has a population of 326,336 on 60.27 km² (23.27 sq mi), so the density is 4933/km² (14,023/sq mi).

Angeles is served by the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport inside the Clark Special Economic Zone (formerly Clark Air Base and now renamed Clark Freeport Zone), which is located in the northwestern part of the city.

As the former home of the largest United States Air Force base outside of the continental United States, it was significantly affected by the base pullout brought about by the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991 as the economy of Angeles was heavily dependent on the American base at that time.

Angeles has been dubbed the "Entertainment Capital of Central Luzon." According to the Center for Kapampangan Studies, the dish "sisig" originated in this city and has been on the menu since the 1730s. Thus Angeles has also become well-known as the culinary center of Pampanga.

I've stayed in America Hotel last year and felt devastated after I met i believed the owner of this Hotel. I felt so bad for the employee having a boss like her not likable lady. So after 1 day i checked out from this Hotel and transferred to ABC hotel which is way way better than America Hotel which is named Hotel America now i don't know why they changed the name perhaps its about running from the old name because of Taxes or i don't know. Because here in US business establishments change name whenever IRS chased them for not paying taxes. To cut the story short i strongly not recommending America Hotel for your satisfaction stay away from this Hotel.
