the two guys above john and rick are probably the owner himself (who is trying by the way to get rid of the place any way he can) unfurtunatly i stayed there and here is the truth for ye: 1. no i repeat no closet of any kind! you want to put your clothes and other stuff somewhere? the maid simply offered me the floor... :-D 2. no room safe and some of the doors cant be locked... 3. taps in bathroom leak all day and night+ floors not built at tilt=constant puddle at bathroom. 4.no phone in room or room service 5.no decent food. for example not even a simple american breakfast all they have is ''special'' dishes at their restaurant i wouldnt wish on my enemys 6. rooms are not cleaned well leaving a strange smell... for example the maid dosnt put nailon bags in the trash can in the room they just take the trash out of it and return it to its place as it is (no bag inside it) dont dare look inside (things growing in there...) when i complained about that the receptionist told me i am an idiot and its a way to conserve plastic... 7. and the best part: after already paying for a week and checking in only then i suddenly find out it is the neghbour of:.. the city center for SEXUAL DESEASE (known as hygene center) with H U N D R E D S !! of aids and tuberculosis patiants hanging around the hotel right next to the entrance all day long!! waiting for their blood exams and medication. when i asked to check out the manager just said that i should simply use a face mask when entering the hotel (near the patiants) and refused to cancel the deal... talk about a turist trap'''

Sorry Jun - This place is the new Faulty Towers bar. 206 is the larger gray-roofed building to the left; evidenced by the dirt road leading behind it and to the Sydney Hotel. I agree though ... great place.

Very modern Asian decor. Romantic ambiance and excellent food. Kingdom Thai is a must visit when in Angeles.
  • Niji Japanese Restaurant, futuredude wrote 16 years ago:
I ate here one time, had the teppanyaki meal. It came with salad, soup, and different kinds of teppanyaki plates. I don't usually go for Japanese food, but this was a delight. The dining room was clean, cheerful and well organized. Service was attentive even during the busy dinner rush. There's quite a few menu items I would have liked to try and for sure will be going back for more. If you're into Japanese food, this is definitely recommended.
  • Angeles Fried Chicken, futuredude wrote 16 years ago:
The absolute best fried chicken in Angeles City. Onion rings are pretty damn good too. This place is a definite recommendation.
