Nice hotel, but the pool attracts bats at night! Best hotel I've stayed in the Philippines but don't like the shower as it just floods with water due to the way they installed the bath tub. Ethernet or Wifi in room, small safe that couldn't fit my 13" laptop. Nice staff that were helpful and car service to short distances like Fields and SM mall. Only 1 car at the time so sometimes the wait was 20 min. If the price stayed below 3000 php I would always stay there but there are more hotels coming up so.... Someone needs to break them in.

Fire & Ice, Nice layout on the 2nd floor. Friendly staff but not many girls. Good pool table and cheap drinks. Buy one get one free on some nights. Foxy's also had a pool table and nice friendly staff. I think you have to get there early to as there were not many girls left after 10pm. Cheap drinks and Friendly owner. Will be back.

Nice new hotel. 2500 php. Rooms smaller than Lewis Grand, but has a slightly bigger safe for 13" laptops. Smaller pool thats only 3.5ft deep. Free WiFi in room and cheap room service but not consistant. I like the shower here than Lewis, as anyone who has stayed in Lewis knows the tube is not installed correctly thus you end up with a wet bathroom floor. Would rate this hotel a notch below Lewis Grand but for the price difference of 800 php will stay here again.

Both Koreans and Americans/Aussies frequent this place. Korewans may like it because they don't allow bar fines. You can just sit and talk but they can meet you afterwards at about 6:00 A.M.

  • Balibago - Lower Fields Avenue, skyhigh wrote 17 years ago:
Concerning how Fields got its name, I found the link via Google search: http://www.angelescity.com/field_ave_page.html So it's Field but everybody kept calling it Fields. Maybe the American habitues wanted it to be named after the notable comedian. Someday it could be renamed Dangerfield, after Rodney, who comes close as a comedian, when Fields fades from memory.

This placetag and outline should be kept to check against the Eastward shift of the new satellite image, just like that with the San Nicolas Public Market.
